POTATO HARVEST - 2 ROWS

The 2-row potato harvester is typically a tractor-mounted or trailed implement powered by the tractor’s PTO (Power Take-Off)system. It is engineered to dig up potatoes from two adjacent rows (usually spaced 60-90 cm apart, depending on planting practices), separate them from the soil, and either deposit them on the ground for manual collection or transfer them into a hopper or truck for further processing.

1. Dual-Row Digging Mechanism: Equipped with two digging blades or shares that lift potatoes and soil from two rows at once.
Adjustable digging depth to accommodate different soil types and planting depths.

How It Works

retaining the potatoes.

3. Cleaning: Additional rollers or belts remove vines, weeds, and small stones, ensuring cleaner potatoes.

4. Unloading: Depending on the model, potatoes are either dropped behind the machine, conveyed to a truck via an elevator, or stored in an onboard bunker.
